July 12-15, 2011&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Abstract.  &lt;/span&gt;The activity times in a queuing network are seldom precisely known, and then could be represented into the fuzzy number, that is called fuzzy activity times. This paper aims to determine the dynamical model of a closed serial queuing network with fuzzy activity time and its periodic properties using max-plus algebra approach. The finding shows that the dynamics of the network can be modeled as a recursive system of fuzzy number max-plus linear equations. The periodic properties of the network can be obtained from the fuzzy number max-plus eigenvalue and eigenvector of matrix in the system. This paper aims to determine the fuzzy earliest starting times, fuzzy total duration time and fuzzy critical path using max-plus algebra approach. The finding shows that the project network with fuzzy activity times can be represented as a matrix over fuzzy number max-plus algebra. The project networks dynamics can be represented as a system of fuzzy number max-plus linear equations. From the solutions of the system we can determine the fuzzy earliest starting times and fuzzy total duration time. The fuzzy critical path with a certain degree of critically can be determine through an interval critical path determination. We know that an alpha-cut of the fuzzy activity times are an interval activity times. The interval critical path can be determine through a crisp critical path determination. Waktu aktifitas dalam jaringan kadang tidak dapat diketahui dengan pasti dan dapat dimodelkan dalam suatu bilangan kabur (fuzzy number). Makalah ini akan membahas suatu aljabar dengan elemen-elemennya berupa bilangan kabur dengan operasi maksimum dan penjumlahan yang didefinisikan di dalamnya. Aljabar ini diharapkan dapat memberikan landasan analisa jaringan dengan waktu aktifitas kabur melalui pendekatan aljabar max-plus .&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;   Aljabar max-plus bilangan kabur merupakan perluasan aljabar max-plus melalui aljabar max-plus interval dan menggunakan Teorema Dekomposisi dalam himpunan kabur. Aljabar max-plus interval sendiri merupakan perluasan aljabar max-plus di mana elemen-elemennya berupa interval-interval real dengan operasi maksimum dan penjumlahan interval di dalamnya. Aljabar max-plus interval  merupakan semiring idempoten komutatif.&lt;br /&gt;  Dapat ditunjukkan operasi maximum dan penjumlahan yang didefinisikan melalui potongan-alfa bersifat tertutup dalam himpunan semua bilangan kabur, di mana potongan-potongan-alfa tersebut merupakan interval tersarang. Selanjutnya himpunan semua bilangan kabur yang dilengkapi dengan operasi maximum dan penjumlahan tersebut merupakan semiring idempoten komutatif. Susilo&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;dipresentasikan pada: International Conference on Natural and Material Sciences (NAMES 09) , Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Banjarmasin 3-4 Juli 2009&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Abstract &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;The activity times in a project network are seldom precisely known, and then could be represented into the fuzzy number, that is called fuzzy activity times. This paper aims to determine the fuzzy latest completion times and fuzzy float times in the project networks with fuzzy activity times using fuzzy number max-plus algebra. The finding shows that the project network with fuzzy activity times can be represented as a matrix over fuzzy number max-plus algebra. The project networks dynamics can be represented as a system of fuzzy number max-plus linear equations. The fuzzy latest completion times for each node in the project networks is a solutions vector of the modified system. This paper aims to determine the service cycle completion time of the acyclic fork-join queuing networks with fuzzy number activity times using fuzzy number max-plus algebra. This paper is a theoretical investigation based on literature and computation using MATLAB program. The project networks dynamics can be represented as a iterative system of fuzzy number max-plus linear equations. The earliest starting times for each node in the networks are the solutions of the system. UII Yogyakarta. 24-25 Januari 2009&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Abstract: &lt;/span&gt;The activity times in a project network are seldom precisely known, and then could be represented into the interval. This paper aims to determine the earliest starting time for each node in the project networks with interval activity times using interval max-plus algebra. The finding shows that the project networks with interval activity can be represented as a matrix over interval max-plus algebra. The project networks dynamics can be represented as a iterative system of interval max-plus linear equations. Makalah ini membahas eksistensi dan ketunggalan nilai eigen dan vektor eigen matriks atas aljabar max-plus interval. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa setiap matriks atas aljabar max-plus interval mempunyai nilai eigen, yaitu nilai eigen interval max-plus maksimum, dan vektor eigen interval max-plus yang bersesuaian dengan nilai eigen tersebut. Batas bawah dan batas atas nilai eigen interval max-plus maksimum tersebut berturut-turut adalah nilai eigen max-plus maksimum matriks batas bawah dan nilai eigen max-plus maximum matriks batas atas dari matriks intervalnya. With max-plus algebra approach, the network dynamic could be analyzed through its iterative system of fuzzy number max-plus linear equations. This paper aims to determine the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the iterative system of fuzzy number max-plus linear equations. The finding shows that if the square matrix of the systems is semidefinite, then the solution exists. The solution of the system could be determined the solution of the alpha-cuts of the system firstly. Based on the Decomposition Theorem, we can determine the membership function of the elements of solution&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;vectors. Jaringan proyek merupakan suatu jaringan yang memuat masalah sinkronisasi, yaitu masalah di mana diperlukan ketersediaan beberapa sumber pada waktu yang bersamaan. Aljabar max-plus dapat digunakan untuk memodelkan dan menganalisis masalah jaringan yang memuat masalah di atas. Makalah ini membahas suatu metode analisis lintasan kritis jaringan proyek dengan menggunakan pendekatan aljabar max-plus. Pembahasan merupakan hasil kajian teoritis yang didasarkan literatur dan suatu perhitungan menggunakan program MATLAB. Jaringan proyek dimodelkan sebagai graf berarah terbobot yang dapat dinyatakan dengan matriks atas aljabar max-plus. Dinamika jaringan dimodelkan dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan aljabar max-plus. Analisis lintasan kritis meliputi waktu awal paling cepat (earliest start time), waktu penyelesaian paling akhir (latest completion time) setiap titik pada jaringan dan waktu mengambang (float time) setiap aktifitas pada jaringan. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa dinamika jaringan proyek dapat dimodelkan ke dalam suatu sistem persamaan (SPL) linear max-plus. Waktu awal paling cepat setiap titik pada jaringan merupakan vektor penyelesaian SPL di atas. Waktu penyelesaian akhir setiap titik pada jaringan merupakan vektor penyelesaian modifikasi SPL di atas. Waktu mengambang setiap aktifitas pada jaringan dapat ditentukan dengan melakukan modifikasi dan sejumlah operasi matriks. With max-plus algebra approach, the periodical properties of the network dynamic could be analyzed through the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrices over max-plus algebra in the its modelling. This paper aims to determine the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrices overfuzzy number max-plus algebra. The result of this paper can be used to analyze the periodical properties of the network dynamic with its activity times which is represented using the fuzzy numbers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;This paper is a theoretical investigation based on literature and computation using MATLAB program. The maximum and addition operations of the fuzzy number is defined through its alpha-cuts which are the closed intervals. The eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrices overmax-plus algebra is extended into eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrices overfuzzy number max-plus algebra, through eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrices over interval max-plus algebra.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;The finding shows that eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrices over fuzzy number max-plus algebra could be determined the eigenvalues and eigenvector of every its alpha-cuts matrices firstly. Based on the Decomposition Theorem, we can determine the membership function of the eigenvalues and membership functions of the elements of eigenvectors corresponding to the eigenvalues. Dapat ditunjukkan bahwa setiap sistem persamaan linear max-plus bilangan kabur, dengan matriks koefisiennya berupa matriks bilangan kabur persegi, di mana unsur-unsur setiap kolomnya tidak semuanya sama dengan takhingga, selalu mempunyai subpenyelesaian terbesar. Subpenyelesaian terbesar sistem tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan menentukan terlebih dahulu subpenyelesaian terbesar setiap sistem persamaan linear max-plus interval potongan-alpha-nya. Selanjutnya dengan menggunakan Teorema Dekomposisi dapat ditentukan fungsi keanggotaan subpenyelesaian terbesar bilangan kabur yang dimaksud. Aljabar matriks ini merupakan perluasan aljabar matriks atas aljabar max-plus dan dapat menjadi dasar pembahasan aljabar matriks max-plus bilangan kabur melalui Teorema Dekomposisi. Dapat ditunjukkan bahwa himpunan semua matriks interval yang dilengkapi dengan operasi perkalian skalar max-plus dan penjumlahan max-plus merupakan semimodul. Himpunan semua matriks persegi atas aljabar max-plus interval yang dilengkapi dengan operasi penjumlahan max-plus dan perkalian max-plus merupakan semiring idempoten. (2001), Rudhito, A. (2004), Krivulin, N.K. (2001).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pemodelan matematika yang dibahas di atas kebanyakan masih berupa model deterministik, di mana waktu aktifitas dalam jaringan berupa bilangan real (positip). Model ini mengasumsikan adanya informasi dan pengetahuan yang sempurna/pasti mengenai waktu aktifitas dalam jaringan tersebut, sementara dalam kenyataanya ada faktor ketidakpastian. Untuk menangani faktor ketidakpastian dalam waktu aktifitas ini, model deterministik dikembangkan menjadi model probabilistik. Dalam model ini waktu aktifitas dipandang  sebagai variabel random dengan distribusi tertentu. Distribusi variabel random ini biasanya disusun berdasarkan data-data yang diperoleh setelah jaringan dioperasikan untuk jangka waktu tertentu. Penggunaan aljabar max-plus untuk model stokastik juga telah dikembangkan, seperti dalam Bacelli, et al. (2001), Boom, T.J.J., et al. (2003), Heidergott, B. B, et. al. (2005).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dalam masalah pemodelan dan analisa suatu jaringan di mana waktu aktifitasnya belum diketahui, misalkan karena masih pada tahap perancangan, data-data mengenai waktu aktifitas belum diketahui secara pasti maupun distribusinya. Waktu aktifitas ini dapat diperkirakan berdasarkan pengalaman maupun pendapat dari para ahli maupun operator jaringan tersebut. Misalkan, dalam masalah penjadwalan proyek, pimpinan proyek menyatakan: ”waktu yang diperlukan untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan ini sekitar 5 bulan”. Seiring dengan perkembangan teori kabur (fuzzy), konstanta maupun parameter seperti di atas ditangani sebagai bilangan kabur (fuzzy number). Waktu aktifitas jaringan dimodelkan dengan bilangan kabur. Untuk masalah penjadwalan yang melibatkan bilangan kabur dapat dilihat pada Chanas, S., Zielinski, P. (2001) dan Soltoni, A., Haji, R. (2007). Sedangkan untuk masalah model jaringan yang melibatkan bilangan kabur dapat dilihat pada Lüthi, J., Haring, G. (1997).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pemodelan dan analisa pada masalah-masalah jaringan dengan waktu aktifitas yang bilangan kabur, sejauh peneliti ketahui, belum ada yang menggunakan pendekatan max-plus aljabar seperti halnya yang telah dilakukan untuk model deterministik dan probabilistik. Seperti telah diketahui pendekatan penyelesaian masalah jaringan dengan menggunakan aljabar max-plus dapat memberikan hasil analitis dan lebih mempermudah dalam komputasinya. Pendekatan aljabar max-plus untuk menyelesaikan masalah-masalah jaringan menggunakan konsep-konsep dasar seperti: aljabar max-plus dan perluasannya ke dalam matriks dan vektor, sistem persamaan linear max-plus dan nilai eigen dan vektor eigen max-plus, seperti dalam Rudhito (2003).
